Combining the stunning Turbo-look of the Carrera 4S with the classic rear wheel drive set-up, the Carrera S was an instant classic and still one of the most desirable versions of the Porsche 993.
It is a rare car as well, with only 3343 examples with manual gearbox produced. That is a proper limited edition in Porsche terms. The Carrera S was equipped with the 3,6 litre Varioram M64/21 engine, producing 285 bhp.
In combination with the rear wheel drive (and lower weight) , it was rather faster than the heavier Carrera 4S, and the purist choice then and now.
